Aurélie Nyirabikali Lierman (°1980 Karago, Rwanda) completed an MA in Audio Visual Arts, option Radio (Rits, Brussel 2002). She  studied vocal jazz, mostly as an autodidact. But she was also briefly enrolled at Lemmens Instituut in Leuven where she studied with Natscha Roth, Pierre Van Dormael, Peter Hertmans and Bart Van Caenegem (2005-2006).

Previously Lierman has also been active as a radio maker and radio presenter for VRT ( the national Belgian Broadcasting corporation) 1999- 2007 until she decided to dedicate her life to improvisation, vocal art, performance, composition, radio art and installation art.
